Intro
You look around, trying to make heads or tails of what in tarnation is going on! Nothing makes any sense!! One moment your running for your life to get some where safe from the meteor. The next your wandering around the ashes of what use to be your home town. It's been a while since the meteor hit. You can tell that. There are plants growing in the buildings and all around this town. You must have been knocked out longer than you originally thought... After wandering around aimlessly in this town, you quickly come to the conclusion that you are the only human left. Alive... anyway.... You kick aside some human bones as you walk down the street. Rusting cars and bikes litter the main street. You freeze. Looking down in shock. In front of your feet in a huge paw print. It's like nothing you've ever seen. Or even heard of. It's bigger than your hands, put together, it looks sorta like a wolf paw print. But the toes of it are stretched out longer, making it look more reptile like. You take a deep breath and continue walking. After seeing that paw print, your a little jumpy. What could have made something like that?? "I'm telling you! It's was like this big!" You hear a male's voice echo through the streets. Instead of freezing, you start to softly walk towards it. It sounds kind, playful even. "No!! Fish don't get the big!" A little girl's voice gasps, with a little giggle at the end. You creep over to the side walk, slowly heading towards the building the voices are coming from. "Do you think that's enough food?" You hear the male ask "It's more than i can carry!" The little girl chirps. You slowly peak through the broken window of the building. You see the girl and young male with backpacks full of canned food. The male had green eyes and brown hair, and was wearing a green t-shirt and blue jeans. The little girl wore a light blue jacket with dark blue jeans. She had electric blue eyes and chin length blood red hair. The girl is the first one to see you, her eyes widened with fear. And she quickly hides behind the male. "Viper what's wrong?" he asked the girl, it's clear he hasn't seen you, yet. Viper just points towards you, when he finally sees you he tenses. Standing protectively in front of the girl. "W-what do you want?!" He growls "I just want to know what happened" You say trying to keep yourself from running away. "What are you talking about?" he asks, trying to look a least a little scary. Probably in hopes of chasing you off. "Where is everyone? What happened?" You restate your question "A meteor hit, two years ago. Every ones dead" He answered, before you respond the little girl tugs at the corner of his shirt "Bracken, It's getting dark... the others will wonder where we are" Viper whispered to Bracken softly. "Ok, lets go" Bracken answered starting to lead the way out of the building. You take a step back as they walk past you. "You better find a place to stay. The mutants come out at night" Bracken advised before walked down the street, Viper quickly following after him. You watch them go before they quickly turn a corner and disappear. Wait. Mutants? |
