Tony didn't even turn up to look at Alice. He pivoted a little so he was facing away from her. "What do you want," he growled quietly under his breath. He wasn't her brother anymore. He wasn't needed.

Mornings in a world where almost every human was dead were usually quiet. There were very few animals as well, and those that were still alive stayed far apart, so the silence was a normal thing. However, the usual silence was disrupted whenever a young man named Leon was hungry, which meant that his wolf-side came out to play. Leon was trailing through the remains of a city when the first pains struck, and he stopped moving, looking down at his stomach wearily. I really don't want to wake up with a dead bird on my head again, he thought, hoping that he could find something a bit more civil to eat before his wolf-side became active.

Ratman had been scrawling on the dusted brick wall in an alleyway. With his own blood, of course. Louis watched with interest as he procured an elaborate mural of nothing in particular. He mumbled quietly to himself, looking down at Louis to make sure he approved. Of course Louis approved, they always got along. He giggled quietly to himself as he shambled out of the alleyway, blood smeared all over his hand, which was recently missing an index finger. "W-where should w-we g-g-go next?" he asked his woven friend. Is there a park nearby? Some lunch would be nice, Louis responded. "G-Great idea!" he agreed, running his bloody hand along the side of the building as he walked. It hurt immensely, but he had gotten used to the pain in his hand. He had chopped that finger off so many times before, after all.

Leon pricked his ears and lifted his nose to the air, breathing in deeply with a half open mouth in order to pick up any interesting scents. There must be food around here somewhere...huh? The unmistakable smell of blood hit his face and his stomach growled loudly. Okay, that is slightly sick... He shook his head to clear it of the wolf instincts and decided to follow the smell; he could help whoever was in danger. And eat it if it's dead. His wolf-side suggested. He quickly smacked his palm against his forehead to get it to shut up.
