The hybrid put his hands up in a peaceful gesture, taking another few steps back. "I don't want anything, really, just calm down. I ran into you by accident, okay?" I'm going to have to be careful around this guy...he's unpredictable. "My name is Leon, by the way," he said, trying to sound friendly, and gave the man a small smile. "What's yours?"

Ratman's eyes softened just a little. Nobody had ever asked him for his name. They had all either wanted to run away, kill him, or both. "D-Doug," he responded. The name sounded weird in his mouth, as he hadn't said it in a very long time. The only person who used it was Louis. Despite his calmer face, his body was still shaking madly.

Leon's smile widened slightly, pleased that he had gotten a fairly normal reaction out of the man. "Doug, huh? That's a nice name." His brown eyes drifted to the sock on the man's hand; oddly enough it was starting to bother him less. It was becoming obvious to him that the man was, despite being off his rocker, very lonely, and he assumed that the puppet was his only friend. "Um, Louis is cool, too." His wolf-side was still wary of the man, but he had a firm hold on its leash, so to say.

Tony looked around with fear when he heard no response. "shitshitshit," he hissed under his breath, trying to think what to do. He remembered her mentioning the cabin by a lake, but she had never given him any directions. He felt betrayed. She had promised to stay with him, to see all this out when it was over. And now she was gone. He trudged back towards the camp, crestfallen.

Doug and Louis looked at eachother. I like this guy, Louis whispered. "Y-Yes, he's m-much nicer th-than most," Doug whispered back, glancing at Leon as if he thought he couldn't hear him. "Th-thanks," Doug stammered for nothing in particular. Louis liked very few people. The only people he had liked was this guy, as well as the girl who had given him food. But even then, the girl who had given him food ended up attacking him later, making Louis not like her anymore.

Leon realized that he had been staring at the puppet, and couldn't help but feel that something was off about it. He knew that it was just a sock, but with the way the man treated it, it was as if the sock was the mastermind of all their operations. Whoa, trippy. Not going there. "You're welcome," he said instead, his ears perked up slightly, as he was feeling rather happy; it seemed as though the other part of his wolf was happy to finally be interacting with someone after so long. "Hey, are you hungry? I was looking for something to eat when I ran into you."

Ratman looked over at Leon. He stared at him for a moment, his expression blank, before whirling around so he wasn't facing him. He sat down cross-legged, whispering furiously with Louis. "What should we do?" he hissed quietly. He seems nice enough. Louis responded. "What if he attacks us?" he asked, his voice in a hushed whisper like a young boy in a library. Then you can stab him. It's not like he can kill you, Louis kindly reminded him. "Good point," Ratman agreed, whirling back around to face Leon. "S-Sure" he responded.

Keiru shakes his head, "no, he does not want to kill me, he wants me to lose again so I won't dispute his claims of being the greatest samurai" he says, shooting forward.
Aliah seems almost to whisper in his mind, reminding him about a dream she told him about, about living in the north, where there is a lot of water in lakes, and people used to live in cabins. (she actually did)
Kitanu grins and shoots forward as well.

Leon, with his excellent hearing, had heard everything Doug had said, but he missed out completely on the half of the conversation that belonged to Louis. he was sure, though, that the puppet had just reminded the man of something that may not be good for himself. "Uh..." He stumbled over his words for a moment, trying to sort out his thoughts. "Great...there's not much in this city though, so we should go somewhere else..."
