{Maybe they could randomly meet, and afterwards the demons find out that he isn't human? Then they fight, and Eve is injured, and that's when he finds the hunter.}

((Willing to do what?? The Eve and Cassander thing? Because yes. Yes I would. Even when I had him on the warrior forums, Cassander was never really into girls, in my mind.))

Night was the best time for a Necromancer to be attempting to evade danger. The darkness that stretched across the city of Boston, Massachusetts provided perfect cover for a certain black-haired teen; the shadows came to life and wrapped themselves around the young man's small, lithe body, shielding him from mortal eyes. The teenager, with his pale gray eyes, was cautiously moving away from the celestial being that was following him; a low-ranking angel, sent to determine his location. He kept his breathing steady and his footsteps quiet, wishing he could travel through the darkness but knowing the shift in dimensions would alert the angel to his presence if it wasn't already aware. His current plan, which was more of an educated guess than a well-thought-out plan, was to reach the office building across the street from him. He knew he could make it if he managed to get to the corner of the street before crossing. However, he did not know that two demons resided within the building.

Enna and Cassander had always loved to indulge themselves. They filled their house with blacks and whites, rich paintings of landscapes and plush furniture. The demons prefered this to the.. rustic nature of home. Cassander was lounging on an arm chair, legs hanging over the edge of one of said arms, his head the other. There was nothing to do. No one to kill. Not now anyway. Enna thumbed through a book, it's cover black and worn. The pages were yellow and dog eared, indicating that the pair head read it numerous times.

Almost there, the young man thought as he approached the end of the sidewalk. Taking a deep breath, he removed himself from the darkness and went around the corner quickly, pressing himself against the brick wall of the last building and once again covering himself in shadows; there had been a patch of light from a streetlamp between him and the small cafe, which had made it necessary for him to become visible before being able to move. His breath caught in his throat when he heard a soft flapping sound, like that of wings, and closed his eyes, waiting for the blast of white light that would force him to come forth; but it did not come. Biting his lip, the teenager opened his eyes and looked around, surprised when he realized that he could no longer sense the angel. He almost sighed in relief before telling himself that it could be back at any moment and he had to be ready; it was not yet time to calm himself. He shook his head to clear it and stepped away from the wall, crossing the empty street and reaching the building in record time.

Cassander had gotten out of his chair after hearing footsteps from the street below. Calmly, he walked over to the window and looked down. It was dark, but he could still make out the shape of the person below. Too close for comfort. "We have a visitor." He announced smoothly. Enna slammed the book shut and tossed it on the table. She strode over, steps filled with confidence, as was her nature. She placed her hand on his shoulders and peered out the window, her mouth tightening into a frown.

Eve collapsed onto the ground in front of the building's steps, his chest heaving with quick and panicked breaths that were gradually slowing as his mind and body calmed. He took a few moments to gather his bearings; after needing to be focused like that and then be released from a great amount of stress was taxing and caused slight disorientation. He knew that he couldn't go into a stranger's house for no good reason, or stay outside; it wasn't normal. he would have to move again even though he was tired and wanted nothing more than to sleep. No, wake up, he told himself, forcing his senses to reawaken; he froze when he sensed the other supernatural presence that came from behind him, inside of the house. It was not an angel; it's aura was much darker. A demon...? But they feel different... He had never encountered a Knight of Hell before.

"We should help him." "Why?" "Because it'll amuse me." Cassander always liked being amused. Besides, he was drawn to this.. thing. Whatever it was. Making his way down the stairs, he opened the door and looked down at Eve. "You look like you need a hand."

Eve jumped at the suddenness of the voice, not expecting the demons, or whatever creature they were, to notice him that quickly. They must be powerful... He turned his head around to look at the one who had spoken, and his gray eyes widened; there were two of them, a man and a woman, who looked very similar--possibly related--and they radiated an air of evilness that caused the young man to shudder. He himself was not a saint, and as a Necromancer there was darkness inside of him, but these beings were far worse than that. Some high-level demon... He stood up and took a step back, forcing the shock to leave his eyes and putting on his blank, calm mask; he could not have them knowing that he knew what they were. "I'm sorry for bothering you," he said softly, focusing on keeping his voice steady. "I'll get out of your way..." He remembered then that he had no weapons to fight the demons; all of his tools had been left behind at the hotel he had been staying in when the angel jumped him. Not good...

Cassander looked him up and down and stifled a laugh. He looked like shit. "Are you sure you wouldn't like to come inside?"

The young man swallowed, thinking carefully about his response before speaking; he did not want to offend the demons, but he also did not want to stay with them. "I wouldn't want to cause any trouble, really. I'm fine, thank you." He pulled down on his sleeves, a nervous habit, and wrapped his scarf tighter around his neck, the thin fabric hiding his mouth and nose from view; however the cloth was not so thick that it muffled his voice. He kept his eyes locked on the man, but his mind was trying to figure out an escape route if the encounter took a wrong turn.
