Eve sighed, not even going to mention that the scarf was thin and not meant for winter. He reached up and slowly unwound the material from around his neck, shivering slightly when his neck was exposed. His skin was extremely pale, almost paper-white, and there was no wonder why he became cold so easily. He placed the scarf in his lap and risked a glance at Cassander, his emotionless gray eyes shielding the uneasiness he felt. They must know what I am by now. If I were just a human they would have already killed me.

Cassander was not fond of necromancers, not as much as Enna. Still, Eve intrigued him. He didn't seem like normal necromancers. He was quieter, and didn't boast. He didn't talk much at all, really.

Eve shifted uncomfortably in the chair, feeling as though there were many pairs of eyes trained on him. There has to be something I can do to get out of here... An idea suddenly occurred to him, and he made sure to keep his expression from becoming excited. He closed his eyes and took in a deep breath through his nose, his body stilling completely. He focused his mind inward, blocking out anything from the physical world that might disturb him. He searched inside of himself for his soul, and once he was deep enough into the trance, he used his mind to grab onto his soul and pull it up. He let out a quiet sigh and tilted slightly to the side, though he remained seated upright. His spirit was now free of his body, though Astral Projection, and his spirit quickly vanished through the wall into another room.
