Bracken looked down, all of his reminiscing crashing down around him. "Star, no!" he shouted, bending over and putting his hand on her shoulder. He didn't want her to go through this pain, but she was doing it to herself anyway. Star pulsed the shadows through herself even harder. She wanted Dunmharu to leave. Although that wouldn't happen. She could at least make him pass out for a bit. I'm doing this for you Bracken Star managed to say through the pain. Her screams of pain echoed through the thick forest. Her eyes continuing to flash between the nearly black shade and the lighter green. She could feel the shadows covering over her, burning her. She was doing this to herself to save Bracken. Suddenly her eyes rolled in the back of her head and she slumped over. Falling limpy into the pebbly shore of the river. Her heart beated, but barely. |

Bracken swore under his breath, rushing over to her. He slid a little from the sudden stop, splashing the water a bit. But he didn't care. "Star!" he called, shaking her shoulder a little. No, this wasn't supposed to be what was happening. No, he was supposed to be giving his life for her. He had been planning on it. Then she goes and does this to herself! It made him feel frustrated, upset, but also grateful.

Leon wasn't upset by his harsh words, knowing that it must be very hard for the man to go through life like that. "I'm sorry too," he replied quietly, "if I offended you, which I'm sure I did." He smiled weakly, not really sure what to do now; he wasn't very good with people now, after being alone for so long with his wolf. "I'll leave you alone, now, if you want."

But as long as it did she wanted to spend this time with Bracken "Could you just get over it and kiss me?" She asked him, her eyes bright with love. Bracken didn't disobey, but he still felt a little frustrated. He bent over and immediately started kissing her deeply, not caring about anything for a short moment. He cherished the moment while it lasted.

Star kissed him back. She knew they would probably only have about 10 minutes together. Maybe an hour if they were lucky. Her arms wrapped around his neck so she could pull him close. This was the first time they had kissed in real life. Might as well make it one to remember

Bracken had the same thoughts on his mind. He allowed himself to be pulled closer, gently pushing his tongue into her mouth and allowing it to swirl with hers. He didn't want to forget any of this any time soon.

Star smiled softly as he kissed her. Her eyes closed so that she could relish ever single precious moment. Her tongue lightly brushed against his. Her heart roaring with joy, and her body relaxing. Bracken, I love you Star softly said as their forms pressed together. It was odd for Star to be all kind and soft. Usually she was rude and snappy. Rough around the edges, and some what grumpy.

Bracken soaked in the moment, hating the thought that he would have to let go of her eventually. I love you too, Star, he thought back to her. He would have spoken it, but he was too reluctant to pull away from her loving lips.

Star's lungs finally burned for air, and she had to break way. She found herself breathing heavily because the kiss had been so deep and intense. She never wanted to leave Bracken. She could have stayed there forever, laying with him in the pebbly shore. But she knew the beast would awake soon. But not for a few minutes. And she was going to spend all the time she could with him before she felt him coming back
